1) We believe that the Bible is inspired and authored by God.

 2) We believe there is only one true God revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3) We believe in the full humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ.

His virgin birth,

His sinless life,

His miracles,

His substitutionary work on the cross,

His bodily resurrection from the dead,

His exaltation to the right hand of God.

4) We believe man is created in the image of God, but as a consequence of Adam's disobedience is born sinful.

5) We believe there is salvation from sin through Jesus Christ.

 

The Evidence of Salvation

The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit.

The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.

6) We believe in water baptism by immersion and partaking of the Lord's Supper (communion).

7) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth.

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as:

  • An overflowing fullness of the Spirit, John 7:37-39 [KJVNIV], Acts 4:8 [KJV/NIV]
  • A deepened reverence for God, Acts 2:43 [KJVNIV], Hebrews 12:28 [KJV/NIV]
  • An intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work, Acts 2:42 [KJV/NIV]
  • And a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost, Mark 16:20 [KJV/NIV]

8) We believe that the initial physical evidence's of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues.

The speaking in tongues in this instance is the same in essence as the gift of tongues, but is different in purpose and use.

9) We believe in sanctification--the process of living a Holy and pleasing life for God.

The Bible teaches a life of "holiness without which no man shall see the Lord."

By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command: "Be holy, for I am holy."

10) We believe the church is the body of Christ and its mission is to build, nurture, and empower believers.

11) We believe the purpose of the ministry is to evangelize the world, worship God, and help mature Christians.

Evangelization of the world.

Worship of God.

Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son.

12) We believe divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel.

13) We believe Jesus Christ will return to take His church out of this world.

14) We believe Jesus Christ will return to the earth and literally rule and reign for a thousand years.

This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel,

and the establishment of universal peace.

15) We believe there will be a final judgment of God for every human being.

16) We believe God will create new heavens and a new earth for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
