The God of the Bible is the Creator God. God created us to relate to Him and each other in harmony. Our sin has disrupted our relationship – with God and each other. Thankfully, the God who creates is also the God who saves. And He doesn’t just save us for heaven some day in the future; He has saved us here and now in Jesus, but He also saves us in order to change us. As we engage with God, He changes how we interact with others.
Paul’s letter to the Colossians is an amazing book that both gives us a grand vision for who Jesus is, but also for how we can relate to others, from around our own dinner tables to the ends of the earth.
